What is Auricular Therapy?

Auricular therapy entails using needles or pellets to elicit change in your body. I will be using 24K gold pellets, also known as Ear Seeds.

Using your ear to treat your body . . .

The ear can be seen as an upside down fetus. This gives landmarks as to where we apply the pellets/seeds. We can target the whole body using the ear.

What can be treated . . .

Pain (low back, neck, shoulder), Migraines, Digestive issues, General Health, Vertigo, Anxiety, Insomnia, Fatigue, Allergies, UTIs, Addiction, High Blood pressure, etcI really like using this treatment for Anxiety, and emotional disharmonies, as it takes the edge off of severity of presenting emotions. I've had great success treating migraines with pellets alone, as well as back pain. This modality supports sign + symptoms of disease presentations, and regulates normal metabolic functioning of your body.

How does it work . . .

The 24K Gold pellets are applied with clear medical grade tape. The pressure from the pellet will be enough to provide therapeutic value. You might feel tenderness after a couple of hours of application, but it tends to subside.Auricular therapy is incredibly effective and often used my western practitioners. For instance, branches of the military use Auricular Therapy, known as Battlefield Acupuncture, to treat PTSD, phantom limb pain, trauma, pain, etc.

It can also be court mandated when it comes to addition. Therapists, Psychologists, Drug Counselors, and more can use this treatment approach in their practice.

How long do they stay on . . .

I always advise to listen to your body. If after 20 minutes you feel agitated, restless, or get a headache, your treatment is done. Once you remove the pellets, the above mentioned symptoms go away. If you can tolerate the pellets, they can be left on for a week. We do not want them to break the surface of the skin, potentially causing an infection. So we advise on the side of caution.

You peel the pellets off with your finger, or tweezers, and the pellets can be thrown away.
